ASSIG — Alpen Strategic Security & Intelligence Group
A Next-Generation Center for Strategic Security and Intelligence in Switzerland
ASSIG is not another security company in the conventional sense. It is a premium platform creating a new reality of security for private individuals, families, business owners, family offices, and corporate structures who require protection not in a formal, but in a strategic sense: as an integrated system for preserving people, assets, reputation, and resilience.

We combine physical protection of high-status individuals and properties, strategic intelligence and threat analysis, electronic and cyber security, crisis response, and professional liaison with competent state authorities. All of this is built on methodologies proven effective where the price of failure is measured in human lives and the fate of nations.
Why ASSIG is Emerging Now?
  • Europe has entered an era of hybrid warfare

Risks that until recently seemed theoretical have become operational reality. The main threat of 2026 is recognized as a large-scale attack on EU critical infrastructure — from sabotage of underwater cables and pipelines to disabling energy grids. These are not forecasts, but already recorded events with which existing security systems cannot cope.

  • Political and military guarantees have cracked

The risk of the US withdrawing security guarantees to European allies, along with a possible ceasefire in Ukraine on Russia's terms, creates a security vacuum that nation-states and police are not prepared to fill.

  • The toolkit of threats has evolved faster than protection
Today we face the hybrid threat as the norm: attacks are conducted simultaneously in physical and digital space. Perpetrators aim not just for theft, but for sabotage, espionage, and destabilization. Drones have become reconnaissance tools, and cyberattacks on physical security systems (IP cameras, access control) paralyze site protection. European law enforcement admits they lack the necessary tools for the digital age, and existing mandates (e.g., Europol's) do not even cover hybrid threats and sabotage.
  • The traditional private security market has proven unprepared for such challenges
The industry in Europe suffers from fragmentation, a "race to the bottom" in tenders, skilled labor shortages, and systemic pay issues. Decades of operating in a quasi-monopolistic environment have led major players to inadequately invest in personnel quality, realistic preparation for armed threats, crisis response, or integrated electronic and cyber security. The result is a market saturated with companies creating an "illusion of protection", unable to counter modern, well-prepared, and technologically sophisticated adversaries.

In these conditions, we are establishing in Switzerland a center capable of offering clients not just services, but an authentic security architecture built on experience countering real threats.
  • Switzerland, despite its status, is not isolated from these processes
With the UN-recommended standard of 300 police officers per 100,000 population, Switzerland stands at only about 210. The actual deficit in operational capacity given new threats reaches 15,000–20,000 personnel.
